Podcast Wednesday

Podcasts are free but enriched with information and community. Heck, one of these also has me laugh out loud on a regular basis. I love that you can walk, cook, do laundry, travel, and just chill while listening. The following three podcasts are my go-to listens as I embark on this intermittent fasting way of life. I’m going to try to devote Wednesdays to linking resources. So here they are my IF Podcast favorites right now. Check them out!

The Intermittent Fasting Podcast – This is Gin Stephens and Melanie Avalon’s podcast,Gin is also the author of Delay Don’t Deny. Her book helped me decide how to implement a fasting window and her podcast is a good first resource on how she and others succeed with fasting. Also, check out the IF Dictionary! It helped me with common terms that IF folks use.

Intermittent Fasting Stories – Gin goes solo on this one. If you need inspiration from people doing it (and I do) this one is the ticket. I enjoy hearing people succeeding and making this work. Many times the stories they tell are ones I recognize from my own life.

The Fork Off Show – Dieting is a four letter word. And these hosts get that. It’s two sisters who are trying to get healthy and laughing along the way. Sometimes dieting is a joke and laughing through the ups and downs is the best way to make it through!

The Obesity Code Podcast – Dr. Jason Fung’s book is my other big bible of why this is an eating plan that I need to explore. WAY more science here but it helps when someone claps back at me for this whole IF lifestyle to know there’s smart science not fad dieting behind it.
